2006 Triumph Speed Triple or 2006 Harley Davidson Night Rod?
I'm looking for an unbiased opinion. I currently ride a '99 Speed Triple. Absolutely love the bike but after 27K miles in the saddle, I'm getting the "new bike itch".
I'm vasilating between getting a new speed triple or trying out something different, the HD Night Rod.
I know they are two totally different bikes but I can only chose one. I've riden both and if I could aford to, I'd own both.
I'm all ears for opinions.

Man, you have a tough choice to make here...must be nice
I've ridden the V-Rod, liked it alot, but havn't ridden the Nite-Rod, but know it is supposed to be a much better handling bike.
Only sat on the new Speed Triple, so not much help there either.
So it comes down to a few sensory aspects, like looks and sound...and to me it would be a tough choice, but I would go with the Speed Triple. That bike would suit your tag best too ,lol. The newer engine should be a nice improvement over your older Triumph as well, plus the looks of the bike have really been improved IMHO. The sound of that bike gives me goosebumps.
Lots of Rods out there, not many Triples in these parts, so exclusivity is another consideration.

There is no such thing as a bad motorcycle.

The Yama-harley looks interesting but I'd check out the 'Street-Rod' before deciding on a Night-Rod or a Trumpy....
The Street-Rod is MY next Machine....Yeeee-Harrrr!
