cb360 electrical troubles

Thanks for the tip - how much do you put in? My mechanic (I do all my own wrenching on the cb360, but the magna is a bit more complicated) said the carbs didn't really need a full cleaning but he recommended I throw a couple tanks of lower octane fuel that burns hotter in there to help clean things out a little bit.

always run lower octane fuel.
i put a can of carb cleaner in mine twice a year.it keeps the goop out of the idle jet passages.they are tiny.higher octane fuel would only be needed if detonation was a problem.it is rare on a liquid cooled bike if everything is in good shape.use about 1/4 of a can of carb cleaner every 3 months.
