I invented, designed and programmed a new website that everyone on this forum might be VERY interested in. It's a bit of a "beta version" and can still be improved. But I think it's functional enough to promote on a limited basis and get some feedback.
The site is www.CaliforniaBikeNights.com and is exactly what the domain says; a site dedicated to listing and promoting motorcycle bike nights/bike meets/bike rallys/group rides in California.
What makes www.CaliforniaBikeNights.com unique?
Well, the coolest feature is that it uses Google Maps to mark all the locations and days of the events! So, you can click on a marker, find out details, AND get custom directions from your house to the event!
How's that for being super cool?!
You can also sort the events. Just want to see bike nights on Tuesday? Okay. Use the "CLICK TO SORT" link for Tuesdays and all the markers on the map vanish except for Tuesdays.
How about places to eat that are "motorcycle friendly?" Okay. They are listed too!
There is also a webform so you can submit changes. Need to add a new bikenight? Delete an old one? Change some information on an existing night? You can do all of that too! Just fill out the form and submit it with all the details.
Last but not least, www.CaliforniaBikeNights.com also has a brand-spanking-new forum and message board. A place to talk about bikenights, group rides, charity rides; Whatever. If you have a motorcycle gathering to mention, there is a place to announce it.
So, thanks for reading this and please take some time to check out www.CaliforniaBikeNights.com. Spread the word. I'm hoping it will become something that a lot of people will visit and use on a regular basis.

I do plan to stick around and be active too. I've lurked on these forums awhile and do enjoy them.
I hope people sign up on the California Bike Nights forums too. It's rather desolate right now.....
