ZX6E has about 100hp. Definately a bit much for a first time rider.

A friend of mine has a 91 ZX6D and that bike will hit 100 in the blink of an eye and easily lift up the front wheel. Definately not beginner friendly

The 750 hawk would be a better choice than the ninja.

The 750 nighthawk is usually considered about the upper limit for a starter bike. power is comparable to an SV650 but the bike is heavier and the engines powerband a bit milder.

If your going to get one of the two get the nighthawk.

The hawk is also less likely to have been abused.
