It is not brand specific around here . I've even seen a couple on sport bikes . So I would have to say that it is not cruiser specific in these parts either .

Not seen those over here - on any kind of bike. Only good luck charm I take with me is the G/F! (I think the safety comes more from the fact that she lets me know if i'm riding too fast!!

The bells can be used on any style bike. I have one on my C-90 and my Nighthawk. I even gave one to my psuedo son-in-law that hopefully will keep him safe not only from road gremlins but hopefully from himself when he considers doing something stupid.
As was stated, you can buy one but the power is supposedly doubled if the bell was given to you.
