nope, I woke up this morning and wanted to go for a ride, even said damned the temperature...only to be dismayed to find that it had snowed 2 inches last night, so there was no way I could take the bike out.

I really feel sorry for you guys that have to endure an actual winter. Here in Phoenix, we've been in the mid 70s since before Christmas. I'm enjoying it now, but winter will just be a pleasant memory when we start hitting the 100s in April and it's all downhill from there for the next 6 or 7 months.

We are in our summer here, 26-30 deg C and finally, we get rain. Our winters are cold but dry so we get to ride all year round.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

I am dead sure that it is going to be a short snowless winter, I bought a snowmobile and a plow truck this year

I'd bet that it will snow like a baztard around here now.

Up to know, we have had just enough snow to stop the bike going out, but nowhere near enough to run a sled.

My best friend bought a brand new Yamaha Apex sled(the one with the R-1 engine, sweet machine) this fall. He put 3 miles on it on the grass. Saturdaynight he had it in the back of his truck when he rolled it. Now it is tiny bits of plastic and aluminum, so you just know it's gonna dump 3 feet on us here right away, just to rub salt into his wounds(which are pretty bad already :( )

 Man its been nice here this winter. Seen a couple sportriders out today. Over the wkend a bunch of cruisers went by our place. I live on a curvy road and we get more than a few bikes past. Only 1 measurable snow fall so far and just about no sand on the hwy. Perdicting 60's all week.
