a vid of My son and I on our private race track

:D Well not really just a parking lot we use to make a new track on every other weekend or so to work on our skills, between the natural obstacles and about $70 in Wal-Mart Cones we can build a track that forces us to work on what we determine are are weaknesses from the past week, a great way to build skills and confidence

Cool video, looks like fun! There is a group here in town that sets up similar courses and races on the little bikes. At the motorcycle show last week, there were two former Canadian Superbike champs and one currently sponsered "factory" rider. In the race I watched an 11 y.o. kid on an XR100 with the seat shaved down got second AHEAD of some of the big dogs. The kid was good, and it was harder than it looked on a pollished indoor concrete floor....

We have been pretty fortuanate here, I have yet to get kicked out of any parking lots, there are two we use, both bikes are quite and somehow when you show up with cones and look like your organized. people tend to think you belong there. The parking lots we use are empty of cars and there is no cross traffic or reason for someone to just wander through, since we have started we have picked up a small following of others who just want to ride and have fun. It stresses the gear issue real quick without much being said, I have had guys show up one week with limited gear and then full gear the following outing.

Considering how little it costs it would be nice to see stuff like this grow, one of the reasons we got into motards is that you can get the same rush with out doing triple digits on the public roads, you also don't get hassled on the real back roads that are slow twisty or combinations of dirt and pavement. I have yet to get pulled over on the motard, I wish I could say the same when I took out the R1
