My manual says not to always run it at low RPM's during the break in because it results in engine glazing.

Check the link.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

i read most of it... and it's useless to me now since i already passed 20 miles like he said.

anyway, he said the loss or gain is somewhere around 2-10%

my bike has 178 hp so if what he says is true...

on the xtreme side, i will lose 17.8 hp

on the low side, i will lose 3.56 hp

it's no big deal to me

You may find your bike uses oil at an increased, regular rate. As time goes by, you may want to keep an eye on that.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

you mean after the break in period since i did the "easy break-in" i should watch out for increased oil consumption?

I mean everyday for the life of the engine. Until it's taken down, re-ringed and honed and broken in correctly, you rings and cylinders are likely glazed and therfore not sealing well. Oil will not be scraped properly from the cylinder walls and will be left behind to burn each time that cylinder fires, useing more oil than nessesary.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

You bought a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R1000 with 178HP and you have never taken the MSF class and have no idea how to do the basics of riding and shifting gears?

Wow.

The best advice I can give is to get a REALLY good life-insurance policy and to please name me as a benificiary.

Or sell your bike immediately and read this:
