Gear for a new rider?
Other than the immediately obvious (gloves, helmet,) what gear would you recommend for a new rider?
Sarcasm is my friend.

As above - might be an idea to go around a few local dealers and see what's on offer. Main thing is to make sure whatever you do get is comfortable, especially the helmet - I've had one or two nightmares in the past with poorly fitting lids that have led to headaches!!
Don't give up.
Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.
If you never give up, you can never truly fail.
