Don't give up.
Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.
If you never give up, you can never truly fail.

not sure if that could happen - it needs a 25kg tug to activate it - so it shouldnt go aff accidentally too easily..

While it might help if you hit something solid, I'm not so sure that it would be a benefit in the situation that is animated on that site. Often, when you crash at speed the enemy is the rolling. When you watch proffesional racers crash, given the opportunity they try to avoid rolling at all costs. The outcome when you start to roll is usually alot of broken limbs. This airbag looks like it would almost force you into a roll by the shape of it. Don't get me wrong, it protects the more vital organs, but it looks to me in alot of situations it could cause alot more harm than good.

I guess that it's it's gonna be quite a while before something is invented that will keep us safe in all types of accident - until then we'll just have to do the best we can...

Nobody knows how we will land if involved in an accident. I can't see this jacket doing more harm than good. Basically, it's a huge inflated parka which means it has several inches of air between you and the ground. If anything, this will protect major body parts. I, for one, would wear it.

Next Toy run, I'm gonna lean over and yank the cord, just before we set off...Keyoke wrote:Been reminded by another thread on here of this - it was here before the hack, can't remember who posted it originally....
