Howdy from Texas

#1 Unread post by MikeyDude »

Hi! I'm Mike from Fort Worth, Texas. I'm getting back into riding after a 30 year + absence. I'm trying to go into it as a total newbie (which isn't working too well...lol). Seems I have some body memory and I guess it's sort of like riding a bicycle... once you're learned you just know.

My wife suprized me with a sweet 03 Harley FXD Superglide a couple of weeks ago and the rest is history...lol. I'm going to be taking the MSF course really soon and am just over thinking all this stuff right now. I'm anxious to go riding, but I'm restraining myself till I take the course. I've putted around the block a little bit and thats about it. Don't wanna push the odds yet.

Anyway

HI!!!

Mike

That is great Mike!! I too am riding after a time away from riding. My nethew bought a bike talked me into riding it home 25 miles, and I just had to get my own. That one to the left is my first ride after a long absence. It is like riding a bike you go right back to it; however, I do ride in rural areas away from heavy traffic. I live in a small town too. Have fun and be safe..
