There's a Duke dealer in New Hyde Park, LI where I got my bike dynoed. They have tons of Ducs in the showroom mostly brand new but some used. I even have seen some on craigslist in the NY section. If you still don't want a Duc, the triumph would be better for speed than the buell.

Here's one I just found in 2 minutes.

I'm sure you've been there, we go to bear mountain about 6 times a season. Nice ride and tons of bikes up the mountain. There's a victory/yamaha/suzuki dealer I'm friendly with and the salesman told me that victory bought out KTM a few weeks ago.

Polaris purchased 24% of KTM. They are working on a quad together. Polaris makes Victory bikes.

tell me they are going to stick that 990 v-twin into a quad.

Might as well get it over with and stick a sportbike motor in a quad, wait a minute that was already done, though it was just a one off.

Get a Buell, I own a XB9s so i guess im biased, but its still a great bike, very easy upkeep, never have to do valve adjustments, pretty much just change the engine and primary oil and filter.
