Well sorry I have been away for while, been busy getting the rally ready. So here is an update.
We are ahead of schedule getting things done for the rally this year (which is a good thing). Here is the list of the events (so far) that will take place at NTRR 2006 -
1. 1st Annual Rock Rally Grand Prix - Indy style go kart racing with trophies going to winners.
2. Hot Air Balloon rides - you can choose either (or both) a 2-3 hour ride (comes with goodies) or a tether ride about 100 feet in the air.
3. Helicopter Rides from Sky 1 Choppers
4. 3rd Annual Chili / BBQ cook-off with Chili Rick
5. 3rd Annual Car Show with Gasoline Alley hosting
6. The Dallas Chop Shop ride-in Bike Show
7. Business Center - copying, email and UPS shipping/delivery services, digital photo developing, etc.
8. Tattoo Contest by Texas Legends Tattoo
9. Poker runs (Fri & Sat) and Scavenger hunt on Sat
10. Opening Day parade (Fri) benefiting the McKinney Food Bank (bring non-perishable foods and receive a special ride pin)
11. Much more to come.
Trophies for Best of Show in the bike and car shows, winners of the Grand Prix, Tattoo contest and Best Chili and BBQ are designed by Nicky Bootz of Nicky Bootz Kustomz. These are very cool.
RV camping spaces are going very quickly. So far people from 11 states have reserved camping spaces. There is a campground map now on the camping page. Check out the website for all the details http://www.NTRR.com.

NTRR Update
Hello everyone, I haven't been around in while because I have been busy putting this "little" party together. We got the bands done, they will be posted within a week and the new forum is up and running so stop by and say hello. The bands are going to be really good this year - it will be a mixture of southern rock (thursday), 80's rock (friday), classic rock (saturday), blues and homegrown Texas music (sunday). There will be a band reunion on saturday at the rally after a 21 year absence - this will be good, can anyone say high tides. One thing you can always count on from us is the best in music at the rally.
We are doing a Texas Music Jam on Sunday of the rally with artists coming from all over Texas all benefiting the Texas Musicians Museum. This will be an all day concert on Sunday so if you are camping, you can stay overnight on Sunday so you don't have to worry about driving. RV spaces are going faster than anticipated, so if you are going to camp get your space quickly so you are left out on the wildest party in North Texas.
