My teacher , who was giving a lecture about engine balance, told us that he has seen it done before. Very smooth operating machine for sure.

I"ve seen it done on a car engine (Infinity), first time on a bike. Next time, don't use a camera phone!

OK, so the nickel fell over. It makes it honest. They could have clipped the video short and left it at that.

Note how the coin was balanced on the valve cover before the engine was started. It stayed upright even while an engine of this size was fired up.

Also, the owner of the bike continually scaled up the revs...to the point when the nickel said "enough".

I find that an impressive garage trick. What is more impressive is actually riding that bike. Now THAT is impressive. :mrgreen:

Hey my trumph can balance a brick on the seat for about 12 seconds if at all does that count.

I could maybe do that if I duct-taped it down. My engine is so rumbly, un-effitient, and loud.
