UNVEILING
Hey sports bike lovers I went to an unveiling of the new daytona 675. Well I am not a sportsbikew/fairing and clip ons kind a guy but I will tell you this thing is awesome and it is the real deal. I think it kills alot of the 600's if not all the torque rivals cruisers and the revs go nuts with 118 hp at the wheel and a 162 top end its worth every penny with 54 ft pounds a tourqe and man does the triple at idle just dsnce a pretty tune. The other thing I noticed was how light it was don't know for sure and as narrow as a cr125. WOW is all I can say

Its a great looking bike, but I doubt it will kill any of the 600's.

I think as a streetbike, the new Daytona will make a much better bike than any of the 600's from Japan.
Now on the racetrack, the opposite would be true. Guess it depends on where you spend most of your time riding. Ain't a lot of tracks around my place, so I would pick the Triumph.....
GO!!! RIDING!

that's just pure blasphemy!GeoffXR200R wrote:I'd personally go for the triumph based on looks alone over the japanese 600's (though that new R6 is *REALLY* close). Also, the fact that it's a tripple is really cool.
And R6 > GSX-R 600

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
