Gee that list of bikes is intimidating!

I've only owned a 83 Suzuki GS650 & an 03 Suzuki LC1500. I did spend a lot of seat time years ago on my buddies Kawi 500 (yes the 2 stroke triple)

Don't remember all of them but a few of the real cool fun ones come to mind. Starting in the mid 60s I had a couple Honda trail 90s. Went from those to a white Honda 305 Dream (pretty bike, probably one of the best looking I've owned) Somewhere along the line I had an old Suzuki 380 ( 3 cyl. 2 stroke with a 6 speed transmission.) Man would that thing fly. Had a CB350, a CB360 and a couple of dirt bikes for good measure. Got an old 49 Harley pan head. Rode it as long as I could stand it. Seems like it cost me $100.00 every time i got on it for some kind of breakdown. Then got an old hardtail 650 BSA chopper. Oil pump went out so I mounted a 650 Triumph in it's place. Rode this for a long time with very little trouble except replacing ziener diodes. Then it was a Honda CB750 ad a couple more dirt bikes. Now I have my ol 78 Honda GL1000, a Suzuki 300 King Quad 4WD atv, a XT200 Yamaha dirt bike and a 125 Honda atv, the 2 last ones being my kids bikes. All in all I don't favor one brand of motorcycle over the other although I have had the best service from the Japanese bikes.
Live it like you mean it, this ain't no dress rehearsal!

As long as no one wants to get into "bikes you've RIDDEN" we can keep this list short:

owned (roughly in order of ownership):

'83 RZ350K (first bike - street use and roadraced)
'84...'90 RZ350L-A (every year, multiples of many years... about 10 RZ350s in all, maybe more. they were fun, light, easy to work on, made for great roadracers, streetbikes and sporttourers too)
'84 DT200L
'86 IT200S
'88 FZR400U (roadraced)
'83 GPz750 (bought and sold)
'90 FZR600A (street trim)
'91 YZ125B (did first cross-country race (hare-scramble) on it -whew! lots of work)
'92 YZ125D
'86 SRX600S (owned this one the longest... a really GREAT street bike, and unique too)
'89 YZ250W (huge torque monster in the dirt - wicked midrange hit)
'99 YZF-R6 --- saaaaweeeeeet as the kids say. my last roadrace bike.

i think that's about it.. probably missed one or two.

oh, a '92 CBR600F2, and a scooter of some sort :-) because I took it on trade on something, then resold it, like the GPz750.

I guess someone could start a thread of "MOST MEMORABLE BIKES YOU'VE RIDDEN :D" -- that's a FUN list I could pull up a few great memories of -- wwwwwaaahoooooooooooo...

If you'll pardon me asking, WHAT the heck is a Yam DR750?? I am familiar with the XS750, and I think they also made a TX750 (twin, for dirt track racing) back then, but never heard of the DR750 (as it is sort of a Suzuki designation for their dualsport bikes, and Suzuki did have the "DR.BIG" which was a DR750 i think) :D

s'ppose i could google for info, but it's more fun to ask someone who has owned one :-)
