Most mods aside from a turbo are a waste on a KA motor. You can get more power cheaper from a stock SR20DET.
I've have seen some seriously fast KA powered 240s with homebuilt turbo setups.
Yeah, but sr20det wasn't stock in US. It's also rather pricey. For just the cost of the swap, you can turbo and build the KA past the stock sr20det power. $7,000 (cheaper if you're on nico) gets you a stage 2 turbo kit good for 350+ hp (claimed by IAP) on a ka (includes turbo stuff, profecB, JWT ECU, forged rods and 8.5:1 pistons) Now, that $7,000 into a Sylvia that comes with the sr20det... well, MONSTER (comparativly anyway).
But, the SR swap ain't cheap. Need custom mounts, custom axles, then there's the labor of swapping the motors, then there's the actual motor, and since you can't use a sentra's sr20de and turbo it, you'll need a "real" one from somewhere. And that means importing one.
