The dilluted colors of the glove and overall look will match your scarf, too.

I don't see a downside here. Cept maybe having to buy a new washer. That could be expensive. :frusty:

stone wash it, find a metal container with a lig, fill it with water, drop some bleach, rocks and dirt, the scarf. Close the lid and shake it up. That will tater it up a bit, you want, cut and fray the edges of the scarf a bit first before you do that and it will tear it a bit

stone wash... sound like fun. :D

and no, i don't want my glove's color to fade. it's a neccessity for me and the bike but the scarf is just an accessory.

stone wash that baby a few times and it will be beat up nice and well. As for the gloves. I doubt you will have any fading. If you do it will be in like 2 years after a lot of washes, not after 2-3 so dont worry about it

Neither have I.
I ride rain or shine so I suppose the odd storm gives them a bit of a clean.

100k/hour through the rain is how I wash mine. Seems to work pretty well. Then again, I don't have a fairing to keep the wind off my fingers so they stay pretty cool, and I don't sweat much.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
