I was at the gym this morning and saw on the news that a biker had been killed in an accident on I-10 in West Covina, CA at about 6:15 this morning. They showed an aerial picture of the bike (a sport bike) the car and the covered body about 30-50 feet away. The traffic reporter said that the report was that the car had rear ended the bike but the point of view they showed on TV made it very hard to buy that explaination. Maybe VermilionX will have more details on this since it was closer to him than to me. I'll look to see if I can find more info on this. It was a tough way to start the day hearing this.

Yeah but no real info yet. Hopefully they'll give some more details later in the day.

VermilionX where are you at? the west side? LA freeways at 6:00 am are a crap shoot. Traffic is just starting to build and speed is still a factor. I'll guess someone going fast vs. someone going slow.
