Just letting you know about a charity poker run I am coordinating. ALL bikes are welcome... especially since I am on a VFR!
Early estimates are showing a turnout of 500 riders! This is the second time I've organized the event; the prior event in 2004 ended with a turnout of 300! The run is being put together to benefit Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited, Inc ~ a therapeutic horseback riding program for those with disabilities and special needs! 100% of the proceeds are going directly to them! So... there's LOTS to offer:
LIVE MUSIC & a RELAXING beer garden (~ for those who choose)
GREAT FOOD & COLD DRINKS!
LOTS of Awards and Raffles!
(One of our raffle items is a $50 gift cert to CycleGadgets!)
A BIG 50/50 Raffle (You could win up to $2500!)
The ride is over 100 miles and will take place rain or shine.
Goody bags are going to the first 250 riders!

more from various companies will be included!)
