Lucky. Get her to start riding, then she'll be excited.

Ehhh, it's not that important to me, so long as she doesn't try and stop me from riding.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Why should she be forced to accept your hobby/pastime/obsession???

If she's upset, be understanding and give her the space she needs
so she can get over it...

I think that calls for a road trip.....  :devil2: :biker:

actually i am trying to plan a road trip, but seeing as im a noob she is kinda concerned about the length of my trip. its about 600 miles. anyway, she has agreed to give it a try in the spring. she tried once, but she stumbled and dropped it. no damage from her though.

Well everyone, i just needed to let you know that my baby made it home safely. i took her out for a quick spin and put twenty miles on her. got to test my new gear too, and i gotta tell you it made this balmy 42degrees feel a lot more like 70 and that made me very happy.

Dang you, I saw the top part of your post and was about to say "a road trip is a great way to give her space," then scrolled down. Bah. :)

snwbrdr: Glad to hear it.
