Is it just me...?

#1 Unread post by SuperRookie »

Ok...so finally I've got all my gear (except boots). I've been wearing my HJC AC11 helmet around the house to get used to it...fits well, nice and snug, no pressure points...

Is it just me? No one else I see looks like a bobblehead doll...maybe it's just from my own perspective but...How long did it take for you guys to get used to it? I look like a giant PEZ dispenser fer chrissake... 8)

Yup, it's just you. No helmet law here in Ohio.

Oh God, please don't start that fight. It's Zootech's head, let him smash it like a melon if he wants. I for one choose to wear mine, and encourage others to do so. However, I've grown tired enough of the argument to get involved in it anymore.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Incidentally...Zoo you know how much I love your bike. And know I would treat it right. So if you were, heaven forbid (seriously), to have an accident. Well, I'm here for ya. And your bike.

Sure thing, Shiv, you can have my bike after it's been in a fatal accident.

Getting involved would be saying "I think people who don't wear helmets are idiot's." What I did was suggest that we not start the arguement all over, and if it does start I'm staying away.

Ok I'm keeping that for posterity.

It'll still be nice to look at, just not...quite as...functional.

Maybe my body will slam into a concrete wall but the bike will fly through an open window into a pillow factory.
