Problem with sticker removal

Hi everyone.
I'd like to remove the stickers from my bike, and I started by removing a small one so I wouldn't ruin it if I screwed up. I got the sticker removed completely, but the problem is that the paint underneath is darker than the other paint, like the sticker has protected it from fading like the paint around it.

Is there anything I can do about this?

if you want the faded look where the stickers were get a bar of lava soap-- wet your finger and get some soap on it and start rubbing--works on black--dont know about other colors.
