Narrow wheels

#1 Unread post by Motofiend »

hey guys just recieved my new bike. I noticed that the tires are alot narrower than the R6 type bikes. The bike i bought is basically a kawasaki250 replica.

my question is what are the advantages and disadvantages of these narrow tires?

Thinner tires turn better. But have less traction on the "O Ring" end for acceleration.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Lol, yes that dude did call my bike junk.

Had it out on the road all day yesterday. So far so good. I was on the side of the street messing with it when a cop car pulled up with the lights on. I almost lost all hope of ever riding it again but it turned out that he rides too and just stopped to say hey.

jmillheiser - can you tell me exactly why you think its junk? Do or did you own one? Did your friend own one? Have you ever seen one?

And i dont care if you say its junk as long as it does not actually turn out to be junk. Call it whatever you want I am a fan of
