need help

I have a 1982 Yamaha 400 Special. Just something to learn on throughout the summer. I would like to buy a sport bike next year, but I’m having trouble deciding what bike would be good for me. I would like to start out in the 600cc range, but should I go for a Suzuki GSXR600, Yamaha YZFR6 or the Triumph Daytona 600 or something else. I don’t mind if the bike would be used or brand new, I just need some direction.

I like the R6 and the Triumph myself. Sat on an 05ish R6 at a dealer, felt awsome. The Triumph i like based on looks, havn't seen one in person.

The new daytona 675 is the real deal and I don't particularly like sports bikes

I'd lean towards the R6, better fit and finish then the zook, and I think it looks better too. Of course, my personal fav is the Honda 599, but I'd be biased
