Supposed to be in the 50s this weekend and all of next week. Will be getting a lot of riding in for sure. Might even ride to work this week.
today was my birthday as well. Good riding weather was about the best present I could have asked for. Definately glad I took today off.
Happy Happy Happy Birthday to you, hope you get lots of bike goodies
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R
Good riding temps in Jersey today, but 40mph wind gusts -- too much for me. <<sigh>> Haven't had the bike out for a week and have withdrawal symptoms already. How do you guys/gals in Canada that don't ride for 3 months stand it?

THREE months....?? nah, it can be more than that depending where you are in Canada ...
Maine has had next to nothing. A lot of REALLY cold days, but clear (of snow) roads. But the amount of sand on the asphalt is enough to make you be nervouse about DRIVING on it, much less taking two wheels on it.
I belive its about 4f here, some freshly fallen snow all over and too cold to melt... I think I'll pick up my new bike on the way home, you know, first time on a bike on the road, just a little snow everywhere..... should be alright....
here in VT its not fair weather riding, its riding when they take the salt off the roads so your bike dont rust out from ya

Theres just something about a blue bike....
Throttle on man, Throttle on....
at 4F and snow on the roads I would be looking for a trailer to take the bike home.
Had my bike up to highway speeds for the first time today, it has no problem doing 70mph as long as im not fighting a headwind.
Also found out that my bike has diddly for range. Had to switch over to reserve after only 90 miles on the tank. It only took 2.1 gallons to fill it up. My bike definately has a tiny "O Ring" tank.
Looks outside:
Another beautiful, warm, sunny day. Absolutely no chance of rain. Can't even remember snow. Oh Yeah. Thats right. I'm stuck in Afganistan. THOUSANDS of miles away from my bike. Its been so long I gotta look at pics to remember what she looks like. You guys got it so bad. Hopefully only about a month left. Then back to the states and riding again.
