Verm, there is no logic to what you are saying at all. I really doubt you are going to use the full power of your bike anytime soon. Looking at the broad perspective, it would be better to limit what bikes people could use. It really makes no sense not to, but I'm not going to complain about it.

yea i know. The test is the same except for a few different questions here and there. They will provide me with a bike which is good as i cant afford one until the summer which sucks. Im also quite tall so im looking about at the min and trying a few out for size. I kinda like the street bike design, but more interested in the crusier design.

actually, im using more of my bike's power now since im already pass the break-in. although, im still only using a fraction.

tested what it feels like a little above 6K rpm but only for a short time since im only at the streets and if push above 6K rpm, i hit 60mph in only a short time.

i'll be hitting freeways pretty soon, there i could probably be able to use half of my bike's power.

hopefully, i'll get some trackdays as i planned so that i can fully enjoy my bike.

With the best will in the world Vermillion, I'm training on a 50-odd bhp bike and I am hititng 60mph in almost scarily short order without opening the throttle wide...

And yes I want to...

I really really want to... so its a good job that we are hitting 70mph dual carriageways in the afternoon...

Well with used, it is cheaper, but with new you can get a year free insurance on some bikes. But restrictions usually apply. I think it will depend on how much money i can get together at the time.

In may, i have exams for uni, but if i can make it, it shouldnt be a problem. Il just check my timetable and book a cheap flight or get the train. Whats happening down there??

One of th best events of the season... The BMF!

http://www.bmf.co.uk/events05mini/show05/

Seriously there will be bikes from every Marque there, all the new and a lot of used. Most the dealers have sit and try stands - Yamaha last year wasn't even supervising theirs.

Anyway, it's a damn good way to try out loads and loads of different Bikes all on the same day and there are a ton of trade stands.

Last year I picked up a pair of bike boots in the closing minutes of the Hein Gericke sale for a tenner, Jules got a lid and 3/4 length leather bike jacket for £70 the pair and I bought a msall stakc of spares that I regretted the mintue I had to carry them all back to the car.

All Bike shows have their bargains but BMF is one giant bargain hunt. I'd recommend it and they have camping if you feel like having a beavy and watching the entertainment.

The next person who refers to part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Scotland, Wales and the territory of Northen Ireland being Europe is going to be hurt. Okay?
Meh ya'll are still part of the European continent. There's no continent called the UK.

<<Rattles Sabre>>

We do have Nukes you know...

The whole Europe thing is a bit of a sore point over here. They may be the nearest landmass but they all speak foreign languages.

and we've been to war with pretty much all of them in the last thousand years or so... Occasionally because they speak foreign languages...

Being Britain we get shafted by the whole EU thing and everytime that happens we end up looking to the 'special relationship' we have with the USofA.

Personally I think we should have stuck with the Commonwealth, failing that was the worst thing our leadership has done over the last half centuary...

Well, much like the current situation in the US, the children will come to help the parents in their time of need.

Assuming ya'llve gotten over that whole 'American Revolution' thing. Nothing personal, really, we just don't like tea as much as ya'll do.
