Does the GS have a name?

GS is suzukis general term for their streetbikes.

GS = your basic standard

GSF = the bandit

GSX-F = the katana

GSX-R = the gixxer

GSR = Gixxer powered naked bike sold in europe only

I second that, my Bandit is a GSF. As far as I know they are still selling them in Canada and Europe.

Yeah, I'm all over that GSR. It reminds me a lot of the FZ6 though, but they don't see the naked FZ6 in the US, only the faired version. But if you look that the european FZ6 without the fairing, you'll see a very similar bike, including the under-seat exhaust.
