I'm looking at getting a 600 or larger cruiser as soon as I take the rider course. I'm very excited to get into bikes. I'm 22. Hi all :D

Welcome to the forums. It's great to hear that you're taking the MSF course first. That's the way to go! 600cc is a good start for a cruiser. Watch the torque and HP numbers when you buy. 600cc Sportbikes are probably too much for a beginner but you should be okay on a crusier.
