Paving over the Gap and the Dragon?

#1 Unread post by Shiv »

Here is a petition to sign so we can save the Tail of the Dragon and the surrounding areas. Spread the word and let us know if you signed.

----------------------------------

I just copied this directly from here.

I've never been to the Gap or the dragon yet but someday, I'd like to. And I'd like it not to be a straight-shot highway when that day comes. I'm sure ya'll feel the same way.

Isn't The Dragon a path cut through the mountains? How do you turn that into a straightaway without investing MILLIONS in blasting a new route through?
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Its not April 1st is it?

Dunno sev. Haven't been there. I wouldn't think so though.

From the map they provided on the site I got it from it looks like it just goes through forests. And all the videos I've seen of it seem to confirm that.

Doubt it is. Those PetitionOnline things are legitimate and even work sometimes.

I've signed dozens of them and haven't gotten any spam.
