just takes doing it over and over again. Downhill turns are tricky.

where you able to avoid a lowside?

1mph will be hard, since i dunno if i can feel 1mph diff and i won't look down on my speedo.

but i get what you mean. :D

just take it faster little by little.

it's also very intimidating w/ all the good riders around that i slow down when im there.

so at least if go there when it's not busy, i'll be less worried about other riders.

Yeah, I got slapped in the back of the head though.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

go when its not busy then. if you feelin intimidated by the other riders then you wont be concentrating on riding as part of you will be thinking about them, so just go one your own time.

I have yet to scrape a peg on mine. My bike tire seems to think that I do however, my chicken strips are only about 1" wide on both front and back tires.

The only time I usually get much lean angle is turning from one street to another which is normally a first gear turn with a shift to second about halfway through if im starting from a stop or a second gear turn if im rolling.

problem w/ being alone is that noone will be there to back me up in case something happens.

but yeah, i'll still take this option over practicing there on weekends where there are so many riders out there.

i hope it's not gonna rain on wednesday.

people say that trackdays is the best way to learn to be fast but i don't have the resources yet to have one.

easy to scrape ya pegs at low speed if ya want

just take the corner late and deep, chin up, look throught the turn, and wellah metal on road will be your result, i mean if ya can knee down at 30 kmh ya can scrape a peg at 20 ;)

Im not intentionally trying to drag pegs. I know a previous owner has dragged the pegs a time or two (the little metal part on the peg that is supposed to meet pavement first has definately met pavement before).

the bike should definately get easier to ride once I ditch the vetter fairing. It makes a top heavy bike even more top heavy, also planning on switching to bars with less rise. I cant stand the buckhorn bars that are on it now, but they are the only bars that will clear the fairing, unless I want ape hangers.
