Hey, to each his own. There are going to be pure Playstation people and there are going to be pure X-Box people (and then there's begger's like me). Personally I like my roomie's Gamecube more than either of the two, only problem is when certain games such as this come out and I'm left in the dark. Bah!

Foolish response, but you are welcome to your opinion.
Bigot? Uhh, it literally is almost impossible to play on our projector, and my roommates and I dont have a normal TV... Before now there wasnt any PS2 only games I wanted so it wasnt a big deal. Friends have brought theirs over and they agree it just doesnt look good when you stretch the low resolution image it looks really bad. like when you take a tiny picture and blow it up.

Plus, it is a fact that the video chipset in it isn't as powerful as the dreamcast... Sony new that when they released it, but they also knew that because of their strong software lineup, they wouldnt have to spend the extra money on a better one for people to be happy. Plus, they fully expected the playstation 3 to replace the PS2 by the time people began to become annoyed by the outdated chipset.

I might have portrayed my opinion a bit harshly, but my concerns are very relevant and factual.
640 x 400 is the best that a PS2 can be.

The X-box can output at 1280 x 720 using 720p, or 1920 × 1080 using 1080i. Plus, they have the higher quality textures to go with the resolution. It is a matter of hardware capability.

i aint gonna say anything really bad about the xbox, but the controller hurts my hands. that wont stop me from playing panzer dragoon for hours though. also alot of the games are pc ports, and ones that arent play like subpar pc games, then are ported to pc.

or is it just controllers suck for FPS'

live is a great idea though, easy online play.

and i know what you mean about the grafix, i played an NES game on a huge tv and :puke:

Toca Race Driver series for PC is pretty awsome. I like it much better than any console racing game I've ever played, including GranTurismo. But you do need a powerhouse to run it.

I have to tell ya this; My friend has a nice projector TV, and his PS2 looks like crap on it. When he puts it on his hi def TV it looks great. I have the PS2 with a hi def wide screen and it rocks, I had to go into the PS2 settings and swith it to that hi res mode or what ever it's called first. I have not been in that menue in ages now. Once it's set I forget it. To each his own, no big deal.

Yes I do have an NES laying around. Still works too.

I also have a sega genesis and SNES laying around too, and they still work.

I only ever bought 1 each of those 3

I am on my second PS2. First one crapped out after a year
