Opinions Please!

#1 Unread post by Papa Bear »

Ladies and Gents (I hope I'm not using those terms too loosely) I'm putting my old Shovel head back on the road this spring after many years of storage. :biker: I'll be replacing the tires, exhaust and battery.
The tires and exhaust I have pretty much decided on although any opinions on these are still welcome. But I do need help finding a battery.
The last one I bought was at Crappy Tire and indeed it was crappy. It just didn't have the power to do the job.
What I would like is a Gel cell with enough cranking amps and to be skookum enough to last at least the season.
Any and all ideas are welcome!! :righton:

Thanks,
Papa Bear

If you have a local motorcycle shop, just go in and ask for a universal battery with the most cranking amps... I got a slightly bigger battery for my bike and just modified my battery box.
