1984 Suzuki RM125 clutch

#1 Unread post by Cockney Rebel »

Hi lads ,
My Grandson has just bought a 1984 RM125 ,is there any adjustment for the clutch on this bike apart from the cable or do I just move the nipple on the cable? I know in most cases it means that the clutch is worn out but there is no slip, the clutch lever is almost right out before the bike starts to move.

The cable is the only adjustment point for that clutch. I used the in-line long threaded nut to get the adjustment in the ball park, then fine tuned the actuation point with the ferule on the clutch perch.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

Thanks Buzzzzz,
I'll try that or if I have to I'll shorten the inner cable, why dont the makers think of simple things like adjustments ?
