Hello to all,
Well, it's another spring and the urge to ride is once again. So I desided to look for another motorcycle. I've had many different bikes in the past decades, and have gone through the speed and HP trip and lived to tell about it <grin>
Now at this age, and with bad Arthritis looking for a simple, light weight, easy to ride and handle.
I come from the old days when the bikes to be had were Triumph's, Harley's,
BSA, Norton, etc. There were no "schools" to learn to ride. You bought a bike and learned on the street. The bikes were much slower than the rockets the big four have now.
It's been interesting to see all the changes to motorcycles. What a choice we
have now with all the makers, models, and styles. For me I still love horse power and speed but age and common sence says to take it easy, so that's what I intend to do.

We have a lot of great people here; new riders, vets, and everything in between, as well as a lot of great information.

Have a look around, check things out, and add your own thoughts and ideas and help us grow some more.

Hi John, Me with my other half Dave, have rode various different bikes, back in the olden days, it was BSA, then for 10yrs or more Dave rode 1100 Virago, but the last 2 or 3 yrs, Dave rides 1997 FZX 750.I'm the pillion by the way or Ballast as Dave puts it!

We have found the Yamaha FZX a good all rounder, its good for touring, its good for speed and light enough to throw around bends, also very good for nipping in and out of traffic. If you want see bike check my personal gallery.
