Yup, he is :D
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I do it to, in the city street lights combined with my headlight (which is really good) is more then enough to see by. I figure I lose about 4-5% of my abiltiy to see. On the highway it's much the same, my brights are really bright.

Unless you have a very lightly tinted visor you're going to lose more than 5%. Its just not safe to ride at night (or in a fog/rain) with a tinted visor. Its also illegal to ride with a tinted visor at night (and in some states during the day also, not sure why).

Yeah..jeez I dont know why it would be illegal to ride with a tinted visor during the day...but the decreased visibility at night would seem to pose a potential problem...

i have a clear visor.

my headlights are very good.

i use my clear visor sometimes at night. i just happen to not use them at that pic.

lights on the road + my headlight = good visibility at night.

clear would be the best but tinted's good enough for me.

I always ride with a tinted visor. And I'm quite fine with it.

Cool photo. I like the blur of the trees in the background and the little squiggly thing the taillights are doing. Looks like you're going hella-fast! :D
