im thinking of doing something to reduce the waist section. everything else is fine w/ me except the waist section.
the next size smaller won't fit my lengths so that's worse.
anyway... i know there's some precautions to altering leather since they're made w/ complicated stitching and altering it might mess it up.
so any of you guys have any ideas?

Try going to a custom leather shop and asking what it'll cost for alterations. They do this for a living so they shouldn't have a problem with doing it right...
(For those hung up on grammar... shouldn't have a problem with doing it correctly...)

You can probably find a way to work some elastic in there? I'd take it to a place that specializes in leather though. The last thing you want to do is compromise the durability. Or just wear a belt
