yeah waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more fun than those hybrids.
that 38mpg is normal.
i got more mileage before, around low-mid 40s, bec i was riding more subtle compared to now.
i bet when i get to have trackdays, my mileage will drop to low 30s.

Hybrids are a waste of money. They get good gas mileage, but not great, and they cost an arm and a leg over regular vehicles.
Whatever happened to the Ultralite Car from 10 years ago that got 100mpg...these darn oil conspiracies

I have to agree with everyone on this one. First off, you dont want a GSXR-750 as your main form of transportation, or for that matter any bike. It wont take long for you to regret that decision.
Also, you probably dont want to get a bike like a GSX-R750 until you have a couple of years of continous riding under your belt. You dont want to be in a panic situation as a new rider on a bike that powerful.
Keep your car, I cant stress that point enough. Get a bike latter this summer when you can afford to buy and insure an expensive toy, because that is what sport bikes are.
And when you do get a bike, keep it under 130bhp... sheesh. You do have some riding experience so think about getting a 650cc V-Twin like the SV650 or Ninja 650.

I ride one of my visions about 90% of the time. The other 10% I use the jeep because God wanted me to. Of course with the visions 57 mpg and the jeeps 21 mpg that averages to 53.4 mpg so not only am I having fun in the bike, I can still do a u-turn in the middle of a river. Nothing like having options but I'd stress car before bike.
