I think you well find that just about any vehicle you buy it’s value well drop very fast and most likely when you go to sell it you well owe more on it then what you would be able to sell it for. I mean if you bought a bike for lets say $5,000 and paid $100.00 a month for one year and then decided to sell it. Keeping in mind your rate and amount owed lets say you ask $4,000. (just a number). Now keep in mind it’s used and how many miles are on it now? Is it popular bike is the market in good shape I think you would be lucky to get $3,000 off it so what do you do next ride the rest of what you owe into your new bike making the payments higher. Try selling that bike next you well lose your butt in the end.
I bought my bike for $6,500 new and did add on’s and so now do you think I well see all off what I put into it, know way. It’s mine a personal part of me to keep and enjoy and work my butt of to pay it off so I can get the next bike I want and maybe just maybe I well sell it and then drop that money into my new bike but just think how you felt when you had that first love as a kid and lost her

I was told that yellow is a girls color when I tried to negotiate down the price of the black Honda 599.

When I was looking for my first bike ever I voiced concerns about the V-star 650 being a little to big (heavy) for me. It was suggested that I purchase a Marauder 800.

Dealers seem to mostly* want to make you spend the most money possible. And if you wreck it, well who knows, you might be back later on.

*I know not all dealers are like this, sorry to anyone that I offended. That was not my intention.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

After I left the office I stopped by another dealership and, based on the advice of the very knowledgeable salesperson with the broken arm, I've decided to get a Suzi Hayabusa 1300R. I charged it to my MBNA card and used my AAA plus 100 mile towing to get my car home. This bike totally makes me look the coolest! After reading an article about helmets I decided to head over to the local Pep Boys for a helmet but I'm having it custom painted with a desert camo pattern because I couldn't stand to wear a $70 helmet. The guy who is painting it promises that the solvents won't hurt the shell of the helmet and he's charging $600 for the paint job. I'll look AWESOME!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) I was a little concerned about the stories of people falling off the backs of their bikes, so I'm having a high seat back (what did they call those? can't remember) welded on. Later today I'm going to see if I can fit the NOS system from my Civic on the Suzi... that'll be sweet!

I'm scheduled to start the safety course next week and have my license by the end of the month. In the mean time I'm only going to ride on some of the local mountain roads where the cops won't be able to keep up. I'm going to get out of the New Bikers section now... I feel I really belong in the Experienced Biker group. 8)

Thanks!

The joke would be on him when he came rolling-in at the actual start time only to find a mountain of smouldering rubble where the building once stood. And in the middle, a sign that says, "Right back at ya!"

I woulda just run a chain with a padlock through the handles of all the doors.
