Ok now what?

#1 Unread post by beerbaron »

My bike had an intermittent power loss but it doesn't seems like it's doing it anymore... you gotta love those things that take care by themselves  . But an hour ago I was on the highway at 170 km/h and the engine started backfiring and the engine got wild oscillating between 7000 RPM and 2000 RPM. I had to pull the clutch and let the engine make it's crisis before I could reopen the throttle.

What could be the cause of this ? Could this be related to my intermittent loss of power that solved by himself?

Thanks

Yeah that's what I think too, seems like there ain't going to be any escape on this. Valves have to be adjusted.

Yeah, I have pics. But my bike is way too ugly right now to show anyone online. Started a big makeover job last summer but some guy ran into my bike last summer and destroyed all of my hard work
