Getting another bike already

#1 Unread post by jmillheiser »

Im getting another bike, but this one is for my wife.

Was scanning the paper today and found an ad for a 2001 buell blast. Called the person and they said it was not running but they would let it go cheap.

I went over and had a look at it, has minor damage from being dropped but otherwise just needs the carb cleaned, battery replaced, and new tires, they only want $100 for it. the bike belonged to the ladys son and he moved out of town and left the bike sitting in the garage.

Will be picking it up in 2 weeks, my wife has already laid claim to it. Which is a good thing as we were looking at getting her a buell blast for her first bike anyway.

That's sweet, Buells are some spiffy looking bikes, and they are great to learn on.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I never even responded to the ad. I just laughed and moved on to the next enticing looking ad. did find an '05 FZ6 for 4500 on there that made me wish I had the 4500
