Insurance in Los Angles

#1 Unread post by Jamers! »

Well with me probably getting my bike some time this month i started talking to progressive again. If i get an SV650(what im thinkin i will get) then my insurance will be 782. Thats crap cause they are saying that having my bike run over by a truck at school is an accident. So im looking now at other companys. What do you guys use?

AAA does require you to have car insured w/ them before they insure your bike though.

my car was already insured by AAA so it worked out perfect for me.

I have insurance for both my car and my bike through AAA as well. I paid almost 2,000 for both, around 700 for the bike and the rest for brand new Honda Element. I paid a huge premium fee due to a huge load of coverage 100/200.

BTW If you gonna get insurance from AAA then your both vehicles have to have same coverage. You can not buy less coverage for one than the other unless you get your agent to issue you two sperate policies.

I've got progressive on my GS. It's 580 bucks a year for.....some amount of coverage  I kinda forgot lol. I remember that it's about twice the lowest amount on PL/PD + Comprehensive.
