Washing a Bike (CBR 600 RR) at a Car Wash help??

Personally I'd be more concerned about an injected bike at a high-pressure carwash than a carb'd. Electrical connections and parts are the real weak point when it comes to water, the fuel system of a carbd bike has none, the fuel system of FI has lots and lots.

FWIW, the manuals for my 2 older Hondas say to avoid high pressure spray (even compressed air).

Oh really?.. I dont know if i should wash it with a pressure wash then..i might take a look in the owner manual to see.

I might end up giving it the good old hand wash.I dont want to end up scewing something up on my bike.

Next time you take it into the hop ask the mechanic what he thinks. Then do that.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
