I'm new here so I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but I couldn't really figure out if any of the others would be more appropriate.
I am buying a Ninja 250 as a starter bike and I want an easy way to transport it around (to parking lots to practice, etc...)
I have an F150 but it's lifted, so I'd rather not risk trying to load and unload it from the bed all the time. So I'm considering getting a hitch carrier like the one made by http://www.mototote.com
Does anyone have any comments on how easy these are to use and if they are safe (would hate to have it fall off the truck right after I buy it). Or if you could recommend anything better/cheaper?
Thanks!

Re: Motorcycle hitch carrier
One of those should work fine as long as the bike doesn't weigh more than the limited tounge weight of your receiver. A ninja 250 is very light and shouldn't be a problem.funsocaltiger wrote:I'm new here so I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but I couldn't really figure out if any of the others would be more appropriate.

Hi
Yep I do have one these but it is home made.I think they are good however the one I would get is one that has a lock back which comes down over seat to realy hold it in place.Aswell straps becasue straps can break.I will try and fine the website for you.But on the whole they are good. However I dont have a truck if I had truck I would put it in the Bed.How much is truck lifted by?
Cheers
