well, I did 2 cross country's on an 83 VT750C Shadow. Ran it to around 32-33K, sold it to a buddy, and he took it over 100K
Probably will be a better starter bike... good torque, very forgiving.

Yep, it was... I think it was actually the fastest 1100 Shadow they ever made as well.
