Dave Mathena probably drives a Prius too. Sounds like another tree hugger to me. Always wanted a motorcycle but his Mother wouldn't let him have one or he was too afraid to buy one.

I called them on the phone and stated I thought it was a pretty ignorant aricle. They said it was a letter to the editor. Not a whole lot you can do about it then since nobody working for the paper wrote it.

This is "procreating" ridiculous. They should outlaw a million other things in this country.

It's funny how much a two paragraph statement can make us wanna crucify this guy, lol. But yeah, this guy's a complete moron. That's got to be the worst reasoning I've ever heard "careless automobile drivers are killing innocent motorcyclists, so we should outlaw motorcycles". How about better educating automobile drivers before we let them get a license? The entire motorcycle collision prevention education the state of Georgia gives for automobile drivers, is one page in a 60 page manual, where a picture of a guy on bike waving to a guy in a cage takes up half of the page, and it says something along the lines of "motorcycles are small and harder to notice, make sure you check your mirrors, and try not to hit them, as they are fragile."
