Cost of a paint job??
Cost of a paint job??
I found a 2000 yzf-r6 for sale, but the dealer said it had a custom paint job on it, some changing color paint. If I end up getting this bike how much would it cost me to get it repainted, nothing special just like blue or black. Thanks.

Maybe from a dealer, but in general, I disagree. Many riders love the idea of modifying their ride to their own character, personality, interest, etc. After all the accessories, custom paint jobs are the added difference which separates us from the rest.Mintbread wrote:"Custom paint" often means the bike has been crashed.

A lot. Take it from someone who has had parts painted before. Besides, that color-change paint is hella expensive. Someone dropped some serious coin to get that sprayed, likely after a crash. If you don't like the color, keep shopping.buc4933 wrote:So thats why I was wondering about how much it would cost to get it repainted

It's called Harlequin Paint and it runs $300 USD a pint .
Only an idiot would paint over that .
That of course is merely my opinion .
However , I am unanimous in that .................
