Fan cooled bikes

What are some of the pros and cons of a fan cooled bike, like the gsf 500 thanks.

PRO - More consistent operating temperature

CON - More plumbing and weight

The GS500F is an air cooled bike and as such has no cooling fan. The water cooled bikes have cooling fans and the air cooled and air-oil cooled bikes don't.

Both basic types, air or water cooled, have their advantages and disadvantages.

To me, they both work fine regardless of the application.

That being said, a radiator is one more thing that could break, but it'll keep the engine at a more consistent temp.

Air cooled means you need to drop it and snap off all the cooling fins to break it. But the temp of the engine will vary with your speed.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
