As far as chain adjustment, do it when it needs it, not at a specified mileage. If you have to adjust your chain everytime you ride the bike, you need a new chain and sprockets.

nope, i sorta gave up on the idea that i can fully mask it.

anyway, im very satisfied already w/ its current condition. it doesn't bother me anymore.

and also, i bought my self a chain lube and a tire gauge.

and im still thinking over if whether i should buy a pit bull rear stand or these... Front and Rear stand

the pit bull rear stand is $140.

after that, i could lube my chain a lot easier.

Try a motorcycle jack for less than half. Craftsman. Works wonders. cause not only can you lift it up, strap it down, and work on it, but you can roll it around too.

yes. it goes underneath the motor. I put the XR on it, jacked it up about a foot, strapped it down, hopped on the bike, kicked it over, and started slamming through the gears just to be an idiot when my dad came in the barn. Back wheel spinning like a am-fm.
EDIT: LOL it just dawned on me that you'd have to take off the belly pan on your bike to use it. And the exhaust. You know what? never mind i said anything about a jack. But check sears, they may have cheaper wheel stands.

I just meant that while your so up close and personal with the chain, make sure its tight. If Verm is going to start maintaining the chain himself, he needs to be aware of that also.

Fair comment. Chains can go suddenly sometimes. Have to keep an eye on them.
