No spark on 3. If you have raw fuel coming out the exhayst, either it is not firing or so rich that there is enough fuel leftover to run out.padedwalls wrote:hey guys i have same problem, except for my #3 cylinder is cold and fuel is expelling out exhaust manifold...shouldn't I atleast get "fire" even in lean condition.... spark seems good, intake boots are new and sealed well, carb is "professionally" rebult ( a freebie from boss' race shop), though was stated that they were heavily corroded. Any suggestions...I have pre-synched throttle valves (fly's) with a bread tie wire, was told should get me by... also i've set floats, did have fuel overflow on #3 carb out of venturi area it seemed just once while off bike (hmmm). never backfired with all that fuel.suppose was lean! But why no BANG? and REVING?

reving
thanks guys...just assumed I had idle adjust in the relative area where it should be, honestly never thought to bring back idle adjust (duh!) amazing what the proper setting does for the throttle.... feeling real dumb right about now, but hey live and learn.Like I said, know more about electrics than engines. The thumper I had last year wasnt so quick a change on throttle adjust, of course just a single carb.. ty again Scott
